The Brooks Glycerin GTS has returned, version 21! No, this is not a drill…..I said the same thing about the Glycerin 21 as well. Our friends at Brooks are smart by hitting the neutral and stability runners at the same time! This shoe, the GTS, is for anyone who enjoys super–soft cushioning underfoot simultaneously needing support (read: stability) to help keep excess joint movement in check.
Here’s what’s new:
Outsole – the new RoadTack rubber is lightweight, resilient, and is comprised of a mix of rubber and recycled silica.
Midsole – Brooks has added 2mm of DNA LOFT v3 underfoot for even more plush cushioning to soften your ride.
Upper – new engineered warp knit provides structure in crucial locations.
Stack Height – 28mm heel : 18mm toe for a 10mm offset.
Yep, still soft cushioning, with the GuideRails Holistic Support allowing you to focus solely on your run, jog, or walk. Let me back up. ALL CAPS CUSHIONING. Like, “best described by words I shouldn’t use on this platform” cushioning. Breathable upper, flexible fit. And just like its neutral cousin, fresh out of the box –bouncy, springy – in and ready to run in!
