Philadelphia Marathon Weekend is our favorite marathon weekend of the year! Thousands of runners from across the country and beyond will be taking over the streets of Philly during its 30th year (Happy Anniversary)! Whether you are participating in the races, cheering or volunteering , we put together a few guided with everything you need to know heading into race weekend!

Philly United Run - Sunday, November 12th at 9AM
All runners and walkers are welcome! Whether you are training for the AACR Philadelphia Marathon, Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, Rothman 8K, or just looking for movement and community. The Philly United 5K Run, 1.6 Mile Walk easy paced run and both will start and end at Philadelphia Runner in Center City (1711 Walnut Street). All Faces and All Paces are welcome!
The event will be powered by HOKA and Philadelphia Runner. HOKA will have shoes to try on for the run/walk, and also provide light refreshments. Philadelphia Runner will provide bag check and restroom usage for the event. Registers will be open for people to shop (optional obviously as no purchase required to attend this free event) post run/walk with a special event discount. Some exclusions may apply.
All City Shakeout Run with ASICS - Thursday, November 16th at 6PM
Kick off race weekend at our All-City Shakeout Run at Philadelphia Runner in Center City (1711 Walnut Street) on Thursday, November 16th! We’ll head out on an easy run starting at 6PM followed by some post sweat socializing and shopping. ASICS will have demo shoes for you to test out on the run and our expert staff will be hanging out ready to help you gear up for race day and answer any question you have about running 8K, 13.1 or 26.2.

The Health & Fitness Expo
Runners, your first stop during race weekend is the Philadelphia Marathon Health & Fitness Expo to pick up your race packets that include your race bib, t-shirt, and bag. The expo is free and features interesting vendors, speakers, upcoming races, and more!

How do I get to the Health & Fitness Expo?
Public transportation is our recommended method of travel throughout marathon weekend unless you have a bike or can walk/run to the expo or races. If you plan on driving to the expo, street parking is limited but there are several parking garages nearby.
