It is officially here. The Philly 10K in August marked the unofficial start of it – let's call this "Labor Day". September's Philadelphia Distance Run marked the official arrival of it – let's call this "Autumn Equinox".
The Kettle Cooker Five & Dime Trail Race is this Sunday, October 6th – which leaves zero doubt that 'it' is officially here.
Fall Race Season
For most, Fall Race Season = Berlin, Chicago, New York City, PHILADELPHIA, Sacramento, and so on.....
Temperatures are a little cooler (we have plenty of cold weather options, which I'll show you later). Rain lasts longer (we have plenty of Gore–Tex footwear options that I can show you now). I just preordered these last week! Jamie preordred these!
The casual water cooler (read: coffee maker) conversation has shifted from the 2024 Summer Olympics (how many years ago was this?) to Fall Marathons, Mile Races, and everything in between*.

I don't want to talk about the Eagles. Or the Sixers TBH.
