So I've been waiting almost a year for these.....
Brodie! True Philadelphia Story: During my first week at Philadelphia Runner I tried on about 4 score (twenty) pairs of shoes. I walked into this process primarily wearing X brand. I ran out of this process into purchasing my first pair of ASICS Kayano. Version 30, Anniversary Edition. So I was all about the colorway and the nod to the year, 1993, that I graduated Thee Saint Rose Of Lima School (8th grade) and started at Thee Roman Catholic High School. But I was ALL ABOUT the way these shoes felt on my feet. Super plush and bouncy, comfortable throughout the heel, midfoot, and toes, breathable.....with every wear. And they seemed to correct all of the imbalance issues I had been experiencing beforehand: overpronation & overcompensation – that poisonous combination. Now I know that a shoe alone won't fix all of my problems.....but the Kayano comes pretty close. This is a daily trainer that I'd wear on race day.
As a forward thinker, I'm like, "if the 30 is great, I know the 31 is going to be the next progression of greatness. So, yes, I've been waiting almost a year for these.....
